CTET Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a Diploma in Elementary Education (or equivalent) OR

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE regulations) OR

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*

CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility

Graduation and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or equivalent) OR

At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation and a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) as per NCTE regulations OR

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education)* OR

Candidates with a B.Ed. Programme recognized by NCTE are eligible to appear in TET/CTET.

Furthermore, those pursuing any NCTE or RCI recognized teacher education courses are also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.

Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

How to Apply for CTET December 2024

The CBSE has released the CTET Paper I to V & VI to VIII exam for December 2024.

Candidates can apply online from 17/09/2024 to 16/10/2024.
