The Sahara Refund Portal has been created for the refund of money deposited in Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Lucknow, Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Bhopal, Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Kolkata, and Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, Hyderabad. The portal started on 18 July 2023.

Those citizens who had deposited money in the Sahara scheme and have not received their money yet are eligible to fill the online claim form.

The Honorable Home Minister of the Government of India, Shri Amit Shah Ji, started the Sahara Refund Portal on 18 July 2023.

Any citizen who applies online in Sahara Refund Portal will receive their deposited money within 45 days.

Citizens can check the status of their application through SMS and on the Sahara Refund Portal website.

The portal was created by the Government of India on the order of the Honorable Supreme Court for the return of money deposited in the mentioned societies.

The societies include Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Lucknow; Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Bhopal; Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Kolkata; and Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, Hyderabad.

Step 1: Register by entering the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar card and mobile number.

Step 2: Log in using the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar and registered mobile number, and verify with OTP.

Step 3: Fill in personal information like name, date of birth, and father's name.

Step 4: Update details of deposited money and upload required documents.

Step 5: Submit the claim details, download the form, and upload it along with other required documents.
